Youth Mental Health Day 2021
Youth Mental Health Day 2021 – how can you get involved?
Youth mental health day (YMHD) is an awareness day founded by Stem4, a charity that supports young people to build positive mental health. It encourages the understanding and discussion of mental health in young people. The aim is to #StriveForward towards positive mental health together with young people across the UK.
After months locked indoors and adjusting to a whole new lifestyle, the past year has been tough on young people. It can be a lot of pressure, so today the youth are given a loud and clear voice to speak about their experiences and struggles. Whether you’re feeling alone, anxious or stressed, YMHD 2021 gives you a chance to be heard. It will also allow young people to share their goals, for themselves or for their community and get them engaged in discussions and activities to improve their mental health.
At Aspiration Training we are proud work with a lot of young people, and we want to tell you that your mental health matters to us. We understand how it can impact your everyday life, even whilst doing the simplest tasks. An estimated 450 million people worldwide suffer from a mental health problem. At Aspiration Training as one of our Distance Learning Courses, we offer a Certificate in awareness of mental health problems. This course includes understanding problems like stress, anxiety, phobias etc. To read more and have a look at our other courses visit: https://www.aspirationtraining.com/distance_learning/awareness-of-mental-health-problems/
