Come and join our friendly and dedicated team of child-care professionals in a unique setting on one of the UK’s leading and exciting City Farm’s where you have full access to all the resources it has to offer. You will need to be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to supporting all the children to achieve and develop in this exclusive environment. We want you to join us in creating a great indoor and outdoor learning environment for the children and build trusting relationships with their parents.

Working with children between the ages on 18months and 30months, your day will include:

A range of activites with the children, crafts, reading, drawing, singing etc

Supervising breakfast and lunch

Assisting with toileting and hygeine

Outdoor play spaces

Gardens and farm animals

Each day to be different and exciting!

We’ll help you to further develop your knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage with training and support.

Entry requirements

Good Numeracy (GCSE or equivalent A-C grades) is desirable

Good Literacy (GCSE or equivalent A-C grades) is desirable

Skills required

Commitment to course

Good communication with children and staff

Personal qualities

Outgoing personality

Great if able to work on own initiative

Commitment to a pathway of learning within a vocational setting

Willingness to work within a team

Qualifications taken

Level 2 in Children and Young People's Workforce

Functional Skills if necessary
