Job description

Monday – Friday and 1 Saturday per month (half day)

Hours 08.15am – 17:30, and 09.45-7pm once a week

During the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship you will receive ongoing support, development and training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified dental nurse and have a successful career in dental nursing.

Your daily activities could include:

Assisting the dentist in providing safe and effective treatments to patients, from simple check-ups to advanced specialist treatments.

Proving patients with a high level of care

Setting up and cleaning surgery

Sterilising instruments

Updating patient records

Maintaining equipment

Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments

Adhering to practice policies and procedures

The dentistry team at Savernake Dental Practice aim to provide pain free quality dental care to help keep your smile healthy with the most advanced general and cosmetic dentistry procedures, all of which are performed in a spa-like atmosphere carefully tailored for comfort.

The practice is situated within the Business Park bordering the Savernake forest.  There is a large free car park with disabled spaces and our fantastic team will give you a very warm, friendly welcome as well as a professional and organised service on reception.

Our light and spacious building has been designed by award winning architects to create a relaxing and comfortable ambience.  Our waiting room has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind.

General

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English are essential.
