Job description
The role of a trainee dental nurse and receptionist:
Setting up and closing down of the surgery and clinical rooms.
Provide excellent patient care – Be enthusiastic, positive and keen to uphold our company values
Assist chair side and prepare for various procedures
Update patient records and clinical notes
Diary management – forward planning clinician diaries, booking and rescheduling
Processing payments and handling money.

High Trees Clinic is poly clinic with a multidisciplinary team consisting of general dentists, oral surgeons/consultants & hygienist. We also offer medical and therapy services such as physiotherapy, acupuncture and audiology. We have a general practitioner within the clinic who provides a vast service list. The successful candidate will have learning opportunities within the dentistry world but also gain plenty of knowledge of other medical and therapy disciplinaries and work to support various clinicians. We are a small but busy clinic located in the heart of Dore with a diverse and supportive team and client base.
Additional information
General
GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable. If you do not have these grades, you will be required to complete Functional Skills.

Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

- We utilise a Virtual Reality Headset as a training tool
