Job description
Under the general direction of the Community Services Engagement Officer, you will provide support across all functions of the Community Services team, through the delivery against our strategic themes; encouraging active, supporting stronger and ensuring safer communities.

Encouraging Active Communities

Support with the organisation and delivery of the annual Malvern Hills Community Sports Awards

Assist in the organisation and administration of a range of sport and physical activities aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Promote centre based and targeted outreach projects delivered by our leisure and community centre providers

Supporting Stronger Communities

Support with the organisation and delivery of the annual Pride of Malvern Hills Community Award

Assist with the administration and delivery of the biannual Volunteering Forum

Support the work of the Community Services Engagement Officer in promoting the work of Community Services team, including producing reports, using social media and maintaining the website

Support with other general administrative duties as required by the Community Services team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and continuous improvement

Entry requirements

GCSE Grades A-C English & Maths required

Skills required

Good ICT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, email, social media and the Internet.
