Get in touch with us today to find out more about the week and our apprenticeship vacancies.
What is National Apprenticeship Week?
The late 2000s saw the apprenticeship momentum grow. The first National Apprenticeship Week took place in 2007, aimed at drawing more attention nationally to the benefits of apprenticeships for both employees and apprentices. The event is run and organised by the government.
National Apprenticeship Week brings together both businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships have. It celebrates the positive influence they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
Traditionally, a range of activities will be arranged across England to showcase how apprenticeships have helped businesses of all sizes and sectors across the country.
National Apprenticeship Week 2022
2022 will see the 15th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships. There is a theme each year, and this year it is ‘build the future’. This theme reflects on how apprenticeships can help individuals from any background to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding, successful and long career.
It also celebrates businesses and their ability to develop a talented team of employees that are equipped with future-ready career skills.
There will be over 1,200 virtual and in-person events this year, targeted at a range of audiences. This includes stakeholders, businesses, training providers and schools.
Participating regions include:
- National
- East of England
- Midlands
- London
- North West
