I was offered the chance to go to college, but as I didn’t really enjoy school, I decided that it wasn’t the right choice for me. All I really wanted to do was to get a job and start earning money. Doing an apprenticeship therefore naturally appealed to me. Doing an apprenticeship meant that I could be working, earning money and learning at the same time. I started my apprenticeship straight after finishing school and have been doing it for 3 years now. I am far more confident than when I first started on the course and now feel happy speaking to patients and I am enjoying meeting new people. During my apprenticeship with Aspiration Training I’ve felt fully supported even at those times where I have doubted myself.
