Monmouthshire Youth Service
The Youth Service is an integral part of the Enterprise Directorate, which sits within Tourism, Leisure, Culture & Youth (TLCY) Monmouthshire County Council. The service has four area teams based on the local authority’s catchment areas of Bryn-y-Cwm, Central Monmouthshire, Severnside and Lower Wye.
Through partnership working with all schools in Monmouthshire and other services they aim to enable and support young people as they progress from children to adults, from dependence to independence.
It supports young peoples’ learning, particularly those most in need, as they learn about life in their own time, in informal settings and because they want to.
“Our experience with Aspiration Training has been a really positive one! Our assessor supported and challenged us throughout the apprenticeship, and empowered us to successfully achieve our qualifications within the allocated timescale. We are now much more knowledgeable and competent in this area. ”
