Monika Jajor-Hidri - Health and soical care Level 2 & 3

I’ve been working as a carer for over 5 years now, ever since I moved to the UK. My previous employers recommended that I do an apprenticeship. This was an option that suited my lifestyle well as I have small children and doing an apprenticeship meant I could work and study at the same time.

I moved to Beavers whilst doing my level 2; and then afterwards I decided to do my level 3. I’ve learnt a lot from doing my apprenticeships. As well as the practical, there is a lot of theory to understand, but being able to use it on a day-to-day basis means that I can understand the theory much better.

I love the fact that I can help people and  that in my role I can improve their day. I genuinely care about their wellbeing and treat them like family. My assessor is the best assessor I could ask for. I can’t imagine doing an apprenticeship with anybody else. She has been very supportive and has helped me every time I needed help and has provided me with the resources I’ve needed to succeed.

In the future I would to go into nursing. I’m very grateful I had a chance to do my apprenticeships and I would recommend Aspiration Training to everyone I know.
