I worked in a nursery as part of a placement whilst doing my A-levels and really enjoyed it. This is what made me decide to go on to do an apprenticeship in childcare. I really liked the idea of working in a nursery and gaining hands-on experience and learning at the same time instead of having to go to university. Since doing my apprenticeship, I have definitely become more confident and become more aware of how to support the children I work with in their development. Aspiration Training have been really supportive and helpful during my training. If I ever needed anything, my assessor was there to support and there were a lot of resources available through Smart Assessor to help me through my course.
