Nutrition and Hydration Week 2019
We are really pleased to be supporting the official Nutrition and Hydration Week 2019.
Nutrition and Hydration Week has taken place every March since 2012. Its purpose is to bring people together to create energy, focus and fun in order to highlight and educate people on the value of food and drink in maintaining health and well being in health and social care.
Organisations from around the world and from all areas of health and social care take part and we are pleased to be part of this campaign for the first time.
Promoting good practices that helps prevent malnutrition and dehydration is the most cost-effective solution we have for reducing the burden on the NHS, in addition to improving individual health and well-being. The NHS states that all health and social care professionals should receive regular training to ensure all staff have the skills, qualifications and competencies needed to aid in this escalating problem.
See how Aspiration Training can help train your staff with our social care apprenticeships and distance learning courses.
