An excellent careers hub is available to help you understand more about the route you can take to your chosen career and develop the skills you will need along the way. You can access lots of information and guidance on developing your personal and professionals skills, including accessing information on communication, team work, problem solving, self management and self belief.

Barclays Life Skills offers a range of online interactive resources to help you develop the skills you need for your future, whether this is about developing your career goals, managing your money or improving the look of your CV.

FutureLearn contains a wealth of online courses to help you with personal development and more specialised skills. Most of these courses are free to use by creating an online account. You can plan your learning and development at a pace that suits you. Please search on the main page for courses of interest and self-enroll on them. Once a course has been completed, you can download a certificate of recognition to prove you have taken part in the learning available.

BBC BiteSize: Careers
The BBC Careers page contains a variety of information and resources about different careers, tips on how to write your CV applying for jobs and interview preparation.

BBC Skillswise: Job Skills
This site helps to provide a link between your career and the use of literacy and numeracy skills. There is a range of practice activities and tasks you can undertake to help develop your confidence in these areas.

Aspiration Training works across both England and Wales, offering apprenticeships in a number of sectors.
