Launch of Aspiration Training’s Learner Support Hub

We are pleased to announce that we have launched our brand new Learner Support Hub which is now live for all learners to access and use to help support with their learning experience during their time with us.

The Learner Support Hub comprises of five easy to navigate sections which will help to support the development of all learners and enable them to understand the online systems we use on a regular basis including Smart Assessor, Zoom, BKSB and West.

The Learner Support Hub is divided into the following sections:

Learning Systems:
This is where learners go to for all information, guides and videos about how to use and navigate through Smart Assessor, BKSB, WEST and Zoom. There are handbooks available with lots of useful information as well as videos that provide a step-by-step approach from logging in, to submitting work.

Improving your digital skills
This page is all about understanding and broadening digital skills. Information can be accessed about how digital skills impacts on lives, access free courses to stretch and develop further skills, learn more about online safety and find resources to help learner use these tools in their personal life and their career.

Enriching your employability skills
This section focuses on what a learner can do to develop their employability skills, including accessing our Career Story Hub for further support such as with CV writing and creating a professional online profile. Learners will also be able to access additional information and resources to help develop those vital lifelong employability skills through one of our partners Youth Employment UK, in addition to Barclays Life Skills, BBC Skills Wise and FutureLearn. Learners can also access information and support to develop their Welsh language skills and how they can become more environmentally aware.

Support and resources 
Supporting the learner to make the most of their learning experience with us is a priority. They can access top tips on how to be prepared for online learning and how to prepare their environment, our commitment to the learners and a link to make direct contact with the Curriculum Team.

Wellbeing
Learner wellbeing is important to us so this section links directly to our Aspire Wellbeing Hub which aims to provide information with links for further reading around key wellbeing topics.

By launching the Learner Support Hub, we aim to help learners through their personal and career development as well as being a go-to place should their be anything they aren’t sure of or wish to learn more about.
