It is safe to say that during these unprecedented times, many of us have felt the wrath of COVID – 19 on our daily lives. In order to continue supporting our learners we have introduced a learner laptop programme. This provides digital and IT assistance to those who may otherwise not have access to equipment such as laptops and tablets.

During the Coronavirus outbreak, we have continued to keep our learners on track and completing their apprenticeships. Their ability to complete their studies has been our top priority and by providing our learners with laptops they have been able to stay safe and keep learning.

Lee Wilkinson, our IT Director states

Our learners are the epicentre of everything we do so when Covid – 19 hit, we didn’t want to stop them being able to continue their learning journey. This is why we introduced a loan laptop scheme to help those unable to access IT equipment during this period. We have reclaimed office equipment and couriered machines to our learners to support them in this difficult time. I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved in such a short space of time to support our learners.

We are incredibly proud of our learners for their consistent dedication for learning. We aim to support our learners in any way we can and by providing laptops to them we are able to work harmoniously together to achieve the completion of their learning journey.
