Senior Business Development Manager - Dental

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager looking after our Dental sector to be responsible for identifying and targeting new business opportunities across, large and levy paying organisations. Effective and tailored account management activity to deepen relationships with existing employers to maximise account development, recognising new areas for development and growth to support the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly apprenticeship levy starts targets
  • Contribution to and ownership of national business development plan to target new and existing employers in sector/geography
  • Complete business development activity in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Attend and contribute to regular sales team meetings, supporting colleagues with relevant engagement activities
  • Manage employer relationships to maximise business growth opportunities
  • Timely follow up and conversion of leads and referrals as appropriate
  • Engagement with Marketing department to identify and execute localised or national campaigns, alongside social media activity
  • Regular use of CRM platform and ensuring that all records are updated and maintained accurately
  • Contribution to and ownership of providing employers with regular and updated employer reports, in line with requirements.
  • Awareness of business capacity and competency across breadth of sectors/locations
  • Build and maintain healthy business pipeline
  • Knowledgeable about different funding streams and career pathways in sector to ensure correct IAG provided
  • Proficient and on-going understanding of Apprenticeship Levy and associated funding routes
  • Attend and contribute to events and trade shows
  • Tactical and astute in approach to identify new business opportunities
  • Conscientious and committed to effective account management
  • Ensure compliance with candidates and completion of initial assessments prior to enrolment and on-going liaison with Admin department
  • Engagement with Enrolment Officer to ensure smooth handover of new learners ahead of enrolment onto programme
  • Ensure CRM is being used effectively to record and track activity
  • Ensure all learner enrolments, both face to face and remote are in line with Quality & Compliance expectations, with all learners meeting eligibility requirements
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Manage key employer relationships in agreed areas to deliver an outstanding level of service at all times
