Quality Manager

Aspiration Training are currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager to work remotely, however ideally you will be based close to our head office in West Midlands. The role is 37.5 hours per week and will involve management of quality across Aspiration Training England’s provision, with a clear focus on continually improving standards of teaching & learning and quality assurance. Ensuring the company meets or exceeds the standards expected from internal and external stakeholders.

Key duties
  • Undertake audits of teaching, learning and assessment and implement interventions with teams to achieve the expected standards
  • Share and disseminate best practice in teaching learning and assessment across the company and teams
  • Support the Quality and Compliance Director to coordinate, prepare and manage all external quality assurance visits, ensuring registrations processes are followed and centre status is retained
  • Support with the production of the quality improvement plan to ensure actions reflect the areas of development raised in the self-assessment and that actions are completed in a timely manner
  • Undertake and manage the observation of teaching and learning processes including moderation

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications

  • A1 assessor award or equivalent
  • V1 verifier award or equivalent

Experience

  • Extensive working knowledge of the work based learning sector
  • Experience of supporting an Ofsted inspection with a positive outcome
  • Clear understanding of the Education Inspection Framework (EIF)
  • Clear experience of implementing and monitoring of a quality cycle
  • Ofsted peer inspector
