Key duties

Key duties

 

People:

  • To act as a first point of contact for all customers to the People team, responding to day to day queries or escalating them within the team
  • To be the primary data administrator for our IRIS people system
  • To provide an effective administration service relating to the employment lifecycle
  • To support recruitment activities including posting adverts, managing job boards, arranging interviews and providing support and guidance to candidates
  • Co-ordinate and support effective inductions, ensuring welcome packs and day 1 need to know information is issued timely
  • Audit IRIS system, ensuring maintenance across team members of H&S assessments, equipment requirements
  • Support monthly payroll processes
  • Ensure all processes have correct and timely communication and administration to underpin them
  • Represent the people function at all times, working within statutory, best practice, employment law guidelines and ensuring consistent interpretation and understanding
  • Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained
  • Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team
  • Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business
Qualifications and Experience
  • CIPD L3 or Apprenticeship
  • Level 2 English and maths
  • Administration qualification
  • Experience of working within a similar role, with customer service and data input essential
  • Experience of working within a people/Human resources team or recruitment role highly desirable
