Graphic Designer

The purpose of this role is to oversee and deliver creative visual branding and communications across a range of formats and media in line with company objectives, with a key focus on learning resources.

Key responsibilities
  • Design & create finished artwork from brief to concept to print and/or web ready layout.
  • Understand learning needs and coming up with creative ideas and concepts
  • Develop interactive and engaging learning content which is utilised to deliver online learning sessions
  • Develop and manage the visual elements of the company branding and the associated branding of our services/products.
  • Protect company brands and ensure brand guidelines are upheld and correctly applied across the company.
  • Create new ideas and solutions to produce visually cohesive messages for marketing campaigns and activities over a range of media.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver campaigns – print and digital
  • To comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Key duties
  • Designing and developing highly engaging digital and blended learning content from technical content provided by curriculum and operational teams.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to take, analyse and translate briefs; providing advice on the best design options.
  • Design, produce and maintain up-to-date divisional and departmental materials as required.
  • Produce the layout, artwork and design of internal and external communications.
  • Creating, sourcing and modifying imagery in order to produce designs for a wide variety of online projects
  • Work with the LMS, utilising authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Creating illustrations, info-graphics and editorial style layouts

Personal Specification

Experience and knowledge

Experience in graphic design and use of authoring tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Articulate Storyline, Captivate.

Knowledge of training & education market. (Desirable)



  • Ability to storyboard and liaise with relevant stakeholders and collaborate with the internal team.
  • Organisational skills and a sound attention to detail.
  • Excellent graphic design skills.
  • Good numeracy & IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills



Level 4 qualification in graphic design or other visual art subject.
