Key responsibilities
  • To assess learners work to ensure timely achievement of qualifications
  • Manage the Equal system for tracking learner activity
  • Effectively track and report on learner progress against plan
  • Ensure that learners are progressing by maintaining regular contact with them
  • Maintain learner achievement levels in line with KPIs
  • To distribute feedback documentation to learners within the agreed timescales
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with learners and employers
  • Work to the company values, creating a great place to work for all
  • Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained
Key duties
  • Ensure learner feedback meets agreed quality standards
  • Ensure data management team are provided with up to date information on all learners
  • Ensure adherence to funding body, inspectorate and awarding body procedures
  • Comply with the company’s Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health & Safety policies
  • Ensure that colleagues and learners are safeguarded against all types of bullying, radicalisation or abuse
  • Participate in team and company and standardisation meetings
  • Ensure fair and transparent recruitment processes in line with company policies
  • Establish professional relationships with learners and staff members
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the company and all of the services it delivers

Personal Specification

Knowledge & Experience

  • Formal vocational experience relevant to sector supported
  • Experience of working in adult education or distance learning environments desirable

Essential Qualifications

  • D32/33 or A1 assessor award
  • Vocational qualifications at the same level of those delivered
  • Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2
  • GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent)
