Digital Marketing Apprentice - Redditch

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Apprentice who is passionate about all functions of marketing and will help to support the delivery of effective digital communications and marketing activities across the business whilst working towards a Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification.
The successful candidate will assist with developing digital marketing campaigns, updating social media channels with a variation of posts, maintaining websites, and writing engaging content for all platforms including, online, offline and print (where required).
The role will also provide a range of administrative support services which may include email management, organising of relevant meetings, creation of surveys and helping to prepare for events.

Key Duties


  • Work with the marketing team to build and trigger tactical digital campaigns that deliver results
  • Assist the team and provide administrative support.
  • Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained
  • Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team
  • Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensuring that the CRM is utilised correctly for all central Marketing campaigns that are sent out
  • Updating the company’s Internal SharePoint site with important company information
  • Reporting on the effectiveness of all campaigns (to include CRM and Social Media) using relevant monitoring tools and analytics to share insight on improving relevant campaigns and the channels used
  • Testing and using innovation to constantly improve marketing campaign performance
  • Keep up to date with and adhere to company, policies and procedures at all times
  • Take responsibility for the protection of data in line with policies and procedures
  • Commits and contributes to maintaining an effective safeguarding culture and takes responsibility for helping to protect colleagues and learners against any risk of harm, including all types of bullying, radicalisation or abuse


  • Take part in helping to build, optimise and deliver marketing campaigns from digital through to print (if required)
  • Help contribute to all Aspiration Training social media platforms
  • Creating and delivering a good user experience for our stakeholders (Employers, learners, and internal team members)
  • Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, competitor activity, innovations and opportunities within the digital marketing space to inform any future marketing activity within the team
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the company and all of the services it delivers through excellent customer service
  • To demonstrate and uphold the company values, creating a great place to work for all.


  • Assisting with planning, delivering, and measuring targeted marketing campaigns
  • Assist with social media campaigns, both organic and social in particular on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram to reach our target audience
  • Creation of organic content for TikTok and Instagram and work with the Digital Marketing Content Assistant to ensure suitability for platforms
  • Assisting with the creation of CRM email templates, working with the Marketing Executive to design and upload these for use
  • Create compelling and relevant blog content across both Aspiration Training and Aspire Wellbeing Hub to be promoted via relevant channels e.g. email and social media
  • Contribute positively to growth of the business by controlling costs

Due to the nature of work and the stakeholders we work with, we follow strict safer recruitment practices to include behaviour interviews coupled with competency CV and qualification checks. Furthermore, all roles are subject to an enhanced DBS, 3 years referencing and social media checks upon successful employment.


Knowledge & Desirable Experience:

  • Ability to use content creation software such as Canva and Adobe to assist in creation of digital assets
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems, with a clear commitment for identifying opportunities and delivering improvements
  • A good understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Awareness of the principles of the following specialist areas: search marketing, search engine optimisation, email marketing, web analytics and Pay-Per-Click and understands how these can work together to form a successful marketing campaig

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Ability to use content creation software such as Canva and Adobe to assist in creation of digital assets
  • Level 2 English and Maths
