Dental Vocational Coach/Assessor (Remote)

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join us here at Aspiration Training, to work remotely as a Dental Knowledge Coach. We are looking for someone who’ll pride themselves on delivering an outstanding teaching experience to our learners and who’ll support them in achieving the best that they can, whilst also always working towards bettering themselves, their knowledge and delivery of personal KPI’S. This role will suit someone who will thrive upon those challenges as well always retaining excellent employers relationships.  In this position, though remote working , you will feel part of a team, with ample colleagues around you to offer support and guidance. Key Duties
Key Duties
  • Support learners, on a one to one basis and within workshops (if required), to achieve qualifications detailed within their individual learning plan.
  • Carry out all organisational and administrative work, preparation and marking associated with teaching and assessment responsibilities.
  • Fully engage learners and employers in the learning process
  • Undertake Internal Quality Assurers activities (If qualified/required)
  • Ensure teaching and assessment practices are good as defined by Ofsted and maintain quality standards as defined by internal and external quality assurers
  • Maintain accurate, up to date records of all assessment activities and support the recruitment and sign-up of new learners
  • Work in partnership with Skills Coaches (who teach Functional Skills) to support effective delivery to learners
  • Deliver high quality teaching, coaching, assessing through blended learning to verifying skills, knowledge and competence of learners
  • Be accountable for the accurate tracking and reporting of learner progress against plan using digital portfolio
  • Conduct timely progress reviews with all learner in your caseload in line with delivery model and stakeholder requirements
  • Manage and maintain quality and compliance measures against targets; access management reporting systems to keep up to date with relevant compliance measures.
  • Where required, invigilate learner tests to the frequency needed both internally and externally to ensure awarding body compliance
  • Keep up to date with and adhere to company, policies and procedures at all times
  • Provide high levels of customer service to learners and employers at all times
  • Support internal stakeholders with accurate forecasting of learner activity and providing information and documents as required
  • Work to maintain a full caseload, managing learners to complete their learning on time
  • Contribute positively to growth of the business by controlling costs

  • Cava/A1 Assessor Qualification
  • Level 3 Diploma – Dental Nursing
  • Functional Skills Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Dental Nurse
  • Active GDC registrant
