Business Development Manager - West Midlands

We are seeking a Business Development Manager based in the West Midlands to be responsible for identifying and winning new apprenticeship business through effective employer engagement activity, whilst developing relationships with existing employers to maximise account development.

Key Duties

 

  • Build relationships with other team members to generate new opportunities from existing employers
  • Respond to and resolve enrolment queries from the Administration team in a timely manner
  • Strive for right first-time sales and learner enrolments in line with quality & compliance expectations
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with employers to support the achievement of sales targets
  • Support employers in your region as the first point of contact to deliver effective account management and maximise business opportunities
  • Engagement with the Marketing department to identify and execute localised campaigns, contributing to social media activity and attending events
  • Monitor own business development performance in line with role KPIs, ensuring that a consistent, ongoing sales pipeline is identified, leading to the achievement of sales targets
  • Ownership of regional business development plan to target new and existing employers in sector/geography
  • Timely follow up and conversion of leads and referrals allocated to you
  • Conduct employer presentations to win new business
  • Identify any suitable opportunities to promote other company service refer to wider Business Development team members
