Health and Social Care – Level 5 (AP)
The Higher Apprenticeship in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services – Adults Advanced Practice is aimed at experience and leading care workers, engaged in roles such as Senior Practitioner and Assistant Manager, working in residential and non-residential settings. It will provide the advanced skills and knowledge required to develop a firm understanding of health and social care provision.
How long is the course?
This apprenticeship courses takes 18 months to complete.
Learners will be given support from specialist tutors and trainers that will deliver training in workshops and in the workplace and provide telephone and e-mail support between visits.
Learners will also be given access to an e-portfolio system, Smart Assessor, which includes all of the resources required to complete the qualification.
What qualifications will learners achieve?
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults Advanced Practice)
- Level 2 Essential Application of Number Skills
- Level 3 Essential Communication Skills
- Level 2 Essential Digital Literacy Skills
Entry requirements can include at least five GCSE grades A-C (9 – 4 new grade).
Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant sector.
For experienced and senior practitioners already in employment.
