Health and Social Care – Level 3
The Apprenticeship is aimed at experience practitioners working in roles such as Residential Care Worker, Support Worker, Senior Carer and Domiciliary Care Worker. It will provide the advanced skills and knowledge required to support vulnerable adults within a range of settings.
How long is the course?
This course runs over a duration of 14 months
Learners will be given support from specialist tutors and trainers that will deliver training in workshops and in the workplace and provide telephone and e-mail support between visits.
Learners will also be given access to an e-portfolio, Smart Assessor, which includes all of the resources required to complete the qualification.
What qualifications will learners achieve?
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults)
- Level 2 Essential Application of Number Skills
- Level 3 Essential Communication Skills
- Level 2 Essential Digital Literacy Skills
You must be aged 16 years or older to enrol.
There are no formal requirements for the Level 3 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.
Prior knowledge in a relevant sector is desired, however, not always required. We recommend completing our Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship as a good entry point into this career.
