Health and Social Care – Level 2
The Foundation Apprenticeship is aimed at care workers who support and assist individuals with their physical and emotional care in residential, nursing and domiciliary settings.
How long is the course?
Health and Social Care Level 2 apprenticeships run over 12 months.
Learners will be given support from specialist tutors and trainers that will deliver training in workshops and in the workplace and provide telephone and e-mail support between visits.
Learners will also be given access to an e-portfolio, Smart Assessor, which includes all of the resources required to complete the qualification.
What qualifications will learners achieve?
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults)
- Level 1 Essential Application of Number Skills
- Level 2 Essential Communication Skills
- Level 1 Essential Digital Literacy Skills
You must be aged 16 years or older to enrol.
There are no formal requirements for the Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.
