Health and Social Care – Level 5
The Higher Apprenticeship is designed for Managers and Deputy Manager. There are two pathways available to support managers that work in non-residential settings such as domiciliary care and residential settings such as nursing or care homes. This qualification can be completed by existing or new employees ages 19 and over.
How long is the course?
The Health and Social Care Level 5 course is 18 months.
Learners will be assigned a Vocational Trainer for support with all of the qualifications. They will visit the learner in the workplace and provide them with e-mail and telephone support between visits.
Learners will be given free access to our e-portfolio system, Smart Assessor, which will include all of the resources you need to complete the qualifications.
What qualifications will learners achieve?
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Settings (Adults Advanced Practice)
Candidates should be at least 19 years old.
Recommended that the candidate holds a Level 3 or above qualification in a related area.
