Outstanding contribution to apprenticeships

Each month at Aspiration Training, our teams nominate employers whom they feel have made an outstanding contribution to supporting our learners with apprenticeships and traineeships. Each nomination is then voted on and a monthly award given.

This month’s winner is ‘The Gables Rest Home’ for their continued support and dedication for their employees and to us at Aspiration Training. The Gables Rest Home manage, Kim Northwood continuously improves professional development for herself and her apprentices and consistently addresses all of our aspire values.

One of our Vocational Coaches, Helena O’Brien, who nominated ‘The Gables Rest Home’ stated…

“This employer addresses all of the Aspire values and continues to aim higher. The management are very approachable and have been integral in the development of their staff. They make you feel very welcome, and you quickly feel a part of their team working together for the benefit of their employees. This employer is an asset to the care sector and formidable in developing their employees’ skills. It is an absolute pleasure working side by side with this employer – we are a team! Thank you for your constant support.”

We are very excited about working with ‘The Gables Rest Home’ in the future and value our ongoing relationship with them. We admire his continual development for his apprentices and business as it demonstrates the essential passion needed to succeed in health and social care sector.
