Certificate in counselling skills (QCF)
This qualification gives learners the opportunity to investigate the knowledge and skills needed to use counselling skills and engage in a helping interaction appropriately.
You will learn how core counselling skills can be used in a counselling relationship and in other helping activities. You will also learn how to use counselling skills, with an induction to counselling skills theories.
The course is made of up the following units:
- Using counselling skills
- An introduction to counselling skills theory
- Diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills
- Counselling skills and personal development
- Learner must be 19+ as of past August
- Must hold level 1 qualification (any discipline)
- Not currently on an apprenticeship programme
- Lived in UK past 3 years
- Access to computer/laptop (mobile phone platform not suitable)
- Any employment status
- Course duration between 6 – 26 weeks
- Flexible working – complete at a time and date to suit learner
- Upon completion, learner receives Level 2 accredited certificate
- £449 + VAT
