Dental practices are to prepare to return to routine dentistry
The CDO for England has released information instructing the profession how to prepare for the return to routine dentistry.
In the latest update for the dental profession, Sara Hurley has unveiled a number of preparation measures for practices to consider as they prepare to head back to work.
‘There will be inevitable changes with regards to pace, proximity and levels of protection that are required for effective risk management and the safe delivery of dental care.
‘This is the time to review and make the appropriate adjustments to protocols, procedures and practice infrastructure for the safe and effective resumption of routine dental care.’
The guidance states the latest information ‘is intended as a prompt to prepare, designed by dental practitioners for use in primary care settings.’ Further information on the guidance can be read on Dentitry.co.uk
