Equality and diversity

Ensure your employees understand their rights and responsibilities and play a positive role in promoting equality, diversity & inclusion.

The Equality Act 2010 was introduced and replaced a single anti-discrimination law. The purpose of the Act is to prevent the unfair treatment of people, prevent discrimination and it should encourage equal opportunities to all people.

What does equality and diversity mean?

Equality means treating everyone fairly. With no tolerance to discrimination or harassment.

Diversity means recognising and understanding people’s different background, beliefs, skills and experiences.
