Apprenticeship in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
The Apprenticeship is aimed at experienced practitioners working in roles such as Nursery Practitioners working in roles such as Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, Crèche Leader or Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. It will provide the advanced skills and knowledge required to support children and their families within a range of settings.
How long is the course?
This apprenticeship is a 14 month course.
Learners will be given support from specialist tutors and trainers that will deliver training in workshops and in the workplace and provide telephone and e-mail support between visits.
Learners will also be given access to an e-portfolio, Smart Assessor, which includes all of the resources required to complete the qualification.
What qualifications will learners achieve?
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care Learning and Development
- Level 2 Essential Application of Number Skills
- Level 3 Essential Communication Skills
- Level 1 Essential Digital literacy Skills
You must be 16 years or older.
Candidates must be working in a childcare setting at a supervisory level.
Good literacy skills are required.
