This is why it is now more important than ever that carers understand their rights and have access to support as soon as they need it.

25th November is Carer’s Rights day. Every day 6,000 people become carers but often it’s not something we’ve planned for. Many carers don’t know how or where to get help. Whether you are a new carer or have been caring for someone for a while, today we want to help ensure carers are aware of their rights, let carers know where to get help and support and raise awareness of the needs of carers. Having the right information at the right time can make all the difference when you’re looking after someone.
