Aspiration Training was last night announced as the winner of the FE Week AAC Awards ‘Education & Childcare Training Provider of the Year’ at a glittering awards ceremony held at the ICC in Birmingham last night.

More than 500 sector leaders, staff and apprentices gathered to find out the results of the awards, which are run by FE Week and the Association of Employment and Learning Providers.

Forty-four organisations and individuals had been shortlisted in 22 categories after more than 350 entries were submitted by colleges, training providers and employers.

New apprenticeship and skills minister Gillian Keegan was in attendance to celebrate the winners.

Aspiration Training won the award based on our flexible and tailored approach to developing apprentices through high quality learning opportunities. This includes our commitment to developing learner resources, blended learning approaches, use of technology to improve the learner and employer journey, dedicated and committed vocational trainers resulting in a very strong success rate of 73.2%. This is 9.1% above the national average for the sector and is testimony to our passion, hard work and dedicated of our childcare team who are focused on supporting their learners and ensuring that they develop and achieve their qualifications.
