Adult Care Level 2 Apprenticeship - Mostyn Lodge Care Home

As an adult care apprentice you will be a key member of the team. Your daily activities may include: 

Planning and completing activities with the service users that will enhance their quality of life 

Assisting service users with their personal care needs including getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the toilet 

Helping to prepare meals and drinks

Completing service user records and paperwork in line with legislation 

Ensuring health and safety is followed at all times and the require standards are met 

This position would suit a candidate with a friendly and approachable manner, who is able to work on their own initiative and prepared to commit to the work required for an apprenticeship.

Mostyn Lodge is a 16 bedded care home specialising in dementia, residential and respite care. It is within easy reach of Keynsham’s pleasant high street with its many amenities and is conveniently situated between Bristol and Bath.

At Mostyn Lodge they pride themselves with their home cooked food. They believe that meal times is more than just eating meals. Its about socialising, wellbeing and nutrition as well as having time to enjoy the meal itself. They offer a choice of nutritious meals and a seasonal menu. 

Mostyn Lodge has just undergone a half a million pound refurbishment. All rooms have been totally refurbished with new carpets and furniture. All rooms have flat screen TVs and also the two residential lounges have been refurbished along with a new kitchen and bathrooms.

Mostyn Lodge has always been a pet friendly care home. The residents love having their golden retriever around and find her very therapeutic.
