Aspiration Training is delighted to announce that from February 2021, we are doubling the size of our traineeship programme in Birmingham and bringing our successful traineeship programme to Gloucester. .

Traineeship programmes help young people who want to access an apprenticeship or job, but who don’t yet have the appropriate skills or experience. Ove75% of young people who attend the programme go on to a job or further education.

Our traineeship programme consists of three components: work preparation training, a work experience placement and support with English and maths if required. This is all provided by our specialist teams who give the right careers advice and support to help young people into work.

Traineeships primarily support 16–24-year-olds who:

  • Are unemployed
  • Have little to no work experience
  • Have the potential to go into employment or an apprenticeship within 12 months

We are expanding our centre in Digbeth and will be opening a centre in central Gloucester through our established working relationship with Gloucestershire County Council, although our training is predominantly delivered remotely, and we can even support with IT equipment if needed.

Aspiration Training have a great network of employers to support work placements including reputable businesses across Health & Social Care, Childcare, Dental and Business Services sectors and beyond. We have been delivering apprenticeships in the local area for over 10 years.

This exciting new development will see us take on several new team members in Birmingham and Gloucester. If you are passionate about support young people into their career, we want to hear from you. All vacancies can be view on our website aspirationtraining.com/work-with-us

To support local employment needs, we’ll be expanding the range of work placements we offer across the region. For the next few months the government also gives a £1000 incentive payment to all employers providing a work placement for a trainee. You can read more about this here

So, if you are a young person who may need our support, or an employer wanting to find great talent and provide opportunities to young people in your area please get in touch enquiries@aspirationtraining.com
