Childcare – Level 3
The advanced Apprenticeship is aimed at people that work under their own initiative, planning and organising their own workload and supervising others e.g. Playgroup Leader, Childminder or Room Supervisor. This is an essential qualification for all practioners delivering the Early Years Foundation Strage. This qualification can be completed by exisitng or new employees.
How long is the course?
The childcare level 3 Apprenticeship is a 14 month course.
Learners will be assigned a Vocational Trainer for support with all of the qualifications. They will visit the learner in the workplace and provide them with email and telephone support between visits.
Learners will be given free access to our e-portfolio system,
Smart Assessor, which will include all the resources they need to complete the qualifications.
What qualifications will learners achieve?
- Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care, Children and Young People’s Settings
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
- Level 2 Functional Skill in ICT
If you do not hold a grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English you will be required to complete a diagnostics assessment and achieve a minimum percentage to quality for enrolment.
Experience is recommended. We also supply an entry level Intermediate Apprenticeship in Childcare.
