Health and Social Care – Level 2
The intermediate Apprenticeship is aimed at care workers who support and assist individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and maintain their independence e.g. residential/nursing care assistants, domiciliary care assistants and community support assistants.
How long is the course?
The Health and Social Care Level 2 Apprenticeship is a course ran over 12 months.
You will be given a Trainer to support you with all of the qualifications. They will visit you in the workplace and provide you with email and telephone support between visits.
You will be given free access to our e-portfolio system, Smart Assessor, which will include all of the resources you need to complete the qualifications.
What qualifications will I achieve?
Level 2 Award in employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Children and Young People’s Settings
Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England
Level 1 Functional Skills in English
Level 1 Functional Skills in Mathematics
Level 1 Functional Skills in ICT
You must be aged 16 years or older to enrol.
There are no formal requirements for the Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.
