We have the following programmes for jobseekers:

Preparing for Work in health and social care, childcare or retail

Our Preparing for Work programme provides jobseekers with valuable work experience as well as essential skills required to help secure and maintain employment. Here is a brief outline of the 6 week course:

• Spend 2 days per week in workshops, 3 days per week in placement
• Obtain essential key skills at level 1
• Learn how to write your CV and cover letter
• Gain valuable interview techniques
• Undertake work experience to enhance your CV and increase your employability
• Enables progression to further learning
• Continue receiving your Job Seekers Allowance
• Gain access to a bursary for transport, childcare and support

*This course is also available as a short course without the work experience, with just 2 days per week in workshops
